Time Exposure Travel Ltd will provide tours, holidays and education as outlined on this website and uses qualified professional guides, instructors and tour operators to organise and administer Time Exposure Travel Tours. The designated tour operator(s), in turn, acts only as an agent for any transportation carrier, hotel, ground operator, or other suppliers of services connected with these tours ("other providers"), and the other providers are solely responsible and liable for providing their respective services. The passenger tickets in use by the carriers shall constitute the sole contract between the carriers and the passenger; the carriers are not responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time participants are not aboard their conveyances.

Time Exposure Travel Ltd and its designated tour operator and tour administrator shall not be held liable for (A) any damage to, or loss of, property or injury to, or death of, persons occasioned directly or indirectly by an act or omission of any other provider, including but not limited to any defect in any aircraft, watercraft, or vehicle operated or provided by such other provider; and (B) any loss or damage due to delay, cancellation, or disruption in any manner caused by the laws, regulations, acts or failures to act, demands, orders, or interpositions of any government or any subdivision or agent thereof, or by acts of God, strikes, fire, flood, war, rebellion, terrorism, insurrection, sickness, quarantine, epidemics, theft, or any other cause(s) beyond their control. The participant waives any claim against Time Exposure Travel Ltd and/or its designated tour operator and tour administrator for any such loss, damage, injury, or death.

By registering for a Time Exposure Travel Ltd Tour, the participant certifies that he/she does not have any mental, physical, or other condition or disability that would create a hazard for him/herself or other participants; and they are aware of any associated risks created by field locations, activities and weather; that they agree to follow the instructors' directions, particularly in matters of personal and group safety, including but not limited to the importance of hydration, need for nutritious snacks, altitude sickness, exhaustion, leave no trace, sunscreen, insect repellent, danger of overhangs, footing, vehicle safety, boat safety, hot air balloon safety, helicopter safety, ferry safety, common-sense safety, respect for others, etc. Time Exposure Travel Ltd and its designated tour operator reserve the right in their sole discretion to accept, decline to accept, or remove any participant on a Time Exposure Travel Ltd Tour. Time Exposure Travel Ltd and the tour operator reserve the right, without penalty, to make changes in the published itinerary whenever, in their judgment, conditions warrant or if they deem it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of participants.

Neither Time Exposure Travel, its designated tour operator, nor its tour administrator shall be liable for any air carrier's cancellation penalty incurred by the purchase of a non-refundable ticket to or from the participant's Time Exposure Travel Ltd Tour, Workshop or Private Guided Tour departure city. Baggage and personal effects are at all times the sole responsibility of the participant.

Basis of Rates: All prices are based on two persons sharing a room unless otherwise stated. Single travellers may be offered a single room at no extra cost, unless otherwise stated or unavailable. Single rooms may be available at no extra charge, but in certain circumstances sharing maybe required. All prices and fares are quoted in UK Sterling. The rates are based on current tariffs and are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. While we will do everything possible to maintain the listed prices, if it is necessary to levy a surcharge, we reserve the right to do so, and notification will be given at the time of final invoicing.

Eligibility: Participants in a Time Exposure Travel Ltd Tour must be 18 or over. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire journey.

Included in Tour Cost: Accommodations and meals if indicated in the itinerary, educational materials, ground transportation during the tour, transfers to and from group flights where applicable, services of Time Exposure Travel Ltd experts, lecturers, guides, tour manager, and any other staff. Provided meals, if included, are during the tour as per the stated itinerary, only and do not include any meals on flights to/from the trip. Internal airfare is included on some international tours as indicated in the itinerary. Although breakfasts may be listed as included, some hotels do not offer packages that include breakfast. Time Exposure Travel, its partners, travel agents or tour operators always book the best accommodations based on the group and never compromise the quality of the hotel for the benefit of a breakfast package.

Not Included: Air transportation and related fees (except as indicated in the itinerary), optional activities as stated in the itinerary, gratuities, unless otherwise noted on the itinerary page, passport and visa expenses, travel/baggage/accident/cancellation insurance, personal expenses, such as laundry, telephone calls, shopping and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and any other items not specifically noted as included.

Accommodations: Time Exposure Travel Ltd reserves the right to change accommodations based on our final attendance count, pricing and other factors that might influence our decision. We typically stay in hotels in the 4-star category. Not all destinations offer these types of properties. We look for unique hotels which offer cultural, historic and/or authentic features. Depending on the size of the group, smaller boutique hotels may have limited room inventory. In some countries or in remote locations, we may be limited to hotels, lodges, bed and breakfasts or branded chain hotels of lesser quality. If we decide to operate a tour with three (3) or less guests, we reserve the right to select accommodations that work within our budget. This could mean that we downgrade the hotels to a 3-star category. Although this rarely happens, we reserve the right to potentially make these changes. Breakfast is included only if included in our room rates.

Payments, Cancellations and Refunds: To reserve space on a Time Exposure Travel Ltd Tour or Workshop, a 100% per-person payment is required unless otherwise stated. If a deposit is taken, final payment is due no later than 90 days prior to departure. Balance payments may be made by BACS or PayPal. Your reservation may be cancelled if full payment has not been received by 90 days prior to departure. For reservations made within 90 days of the departure date, full payment is required within 5 business days of the reservation. All cancellation notices must be received in writing and will become effective as of the date of the postmark (postal or electronic). If you cancel 91 days or more prior to departure, a refund less an administrative fee of £100 per person will be applied. Per-person/per Group charges for cancellations that occur less than 69 days prior to departure ("Cancellation Penalty Period") are as follows: 69-42 days prior to departure - Amount of deposit or 30% of trip cost (whichever is higher); 41-28 days prior to departure - 60% of trip cost; 27-14 days prior to departure - 90% of trip cost. Less than 14 days prior to departure 100% of trip cost (no exceptions). Failure to join the tour – 100% of trip cost. You will be entitled to a full refund if Time Exposure Travel Ltd is unable to operate your trip. This policy also applies to pre- and post-trip extensions, excursions, early arrival rooms and late departure rooms. Any revisions made within the Cancellation Penalty Period, such as a change in departure date or choice of trip, are subject to this cancellation policy. Any third-party business/tourist attractions/monuments/landmarks/sites entrance fees pre-purchased via Time Exposure Travel Ltd will be subject to the refund policy of the third party establishment. Any refund may be liable to bank and or PayPal fees. Any airline tickets issued are subject to the carrier's refund policy. Leaving a tour in progress, for any reason whatsoever, will not result in a refund, and no refunds will be made for any unused portions of a tour. We reserve the right to cancel any trip because of inadequate enrolment that makes the trip economically infeasible to operate or because of good-faith concerns with respect to the safety, health, or welfare of the participants. If a tour is cancelled prior to departure, the tour operator will provide you with a full refund of monies paid to the tour operator; except in the event that the cancellation is due to a significant event that makes it infeasible to operate the tour as planned, in which case the tour operator will provide you with a refund and/or credit toward a future Time Exposure Travel Ltd Tour, Workshop or Private Guided Tour equivalent to monies paid to the tour operator. If we cancel the trip in progress, you will receive a prorated refund based on the number of days not completed on the tour. We will not be responsible for any refund for non-refundable airline tickets or for any airline tickets purchased by the passenger directly from an airline or travel agent. All refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days. We strongly suggest travel insurance to protect your investment.

Weather: We reserve the right to cancel, reschedule or re-route a Time Exposure Travel Tour Ltd, Workshop, Private Guided Tour or Photo Day Tour up until last minute, due to inclement or unsafe weather conditions, safety or other uncontrollable circumstances.

Travel Insurance: Time Exposure Travel strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance that protects you and your investment in the event of a sudden emergency before or during your trip and coverage for trip cancellation or interruption, illness, injury, and damage, loss or theft of baggage, as well as emergency assistance. Time Exposure Travel Ltd reserve the right to see proof of applicable Travel Insurance. 

Photographer Leaders: The itineraries and staff presented on this website are subject to modification and change by Time Exposure Travel or its designated tour operator. Every reasonable effort will be made to operate programs as planned, but alterations may still occur after final itineraries are sent. Time Exposure Travel makes every attempt to provide photographic opportunities during the best possible light, but this is often compromised by daily itineraries and travel schedules, and it is impossible to visit all locations during these limited hours.

Health Requirements: You must be in good physical and mental health. You must be able to maintain the pace of the group throughout the tour. Any physical condition, diet, or treatment requiring special attention must be reported in writing when you register. Failure to participate in daily activities due to physical or mental health will not result in any refund. For special dietary requirements, we do our best to convey this information to restaurants and food establishments, but communication of these requirements to restaurants and food establishments is ultimately your responsibility.

Photography: We reserve the right to take photographs or videos during the operation of any tour or part thereof and to use the resulting photography, videos, or recordings for promotional or commercial use. By making a reservation on a Time Exposure Travel Tour Ltd, Workshop or Private Guided Tour, the participant agrees to allow his/her likeness to be used by Time Exposure Travel Ltd, Time Exposure Travel Ltd authorised third parties, and the Tour Operator without compensation to the participant. If the participant prefers that his/her likeness not be used, he/she must notify us in writing prior to departure of the trip. Copyright in all photographs, video, and related materials created by the participant ("tour Materials") shall belong to the participant upon creation. The participant grants to Time Exposure Travel Ltd a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable license to use any tour Materials provided to Time Exposure Travel Ltd and/or the Tour Operator in any media for the following limited purposes: editorial use, promotion of this editorial use, promotion of Time Exposure Travel Ltd travel programs, or promotion of the mission of Time Exposure Travel Ltd.

Conditions of Booking: You shall comply with the instructions of Time Exposure Travel Ltd representatives at all times. Any act committed, or risk taken contrary to that advised by a representative of Time Exposure Travel Ltd is done purely at the client’s risk. Time Exposure Travel Ltd will not be responsible for the result of that risk. No Client shall be accepted or be permitted to continue on a package where their mental status or physical condition is, in the opinion of any representative of Time Exposure Travel Ltd, rendering them incapable of caring for themselves or is making themselves objectionable to other Clients. Time Exposure Travel Ltd decision is final, and Time Exposure Travel Ltd will not be responsible for any expenses incurred by such persons precluded from completing the package for this reason. No refunds will be given for uncompleted parts of any trip. Your booking is accepted on the understanding that you realise any potential hazards on a tour, including injury, disease, loss or damage to property, inconvenience, discomfort and on occasion in remote areas an absence or lack of facilities. Itineraries given for each package will be adhered to wherever possible. They should be taken as an indication of what each group should achieve on that day, and not as a contractual obligation on the part of Time Exposure Travel Ltd. Changes in itinerary may be caused by local political conditions, flight cancellations, mechanical breakdown, border restrictions, sickness or other unforeseeable circumstances. You must accept that changes in itinerary may in rare occasions be forced upon the group, and with these changes possible inconvenience, discomfort or disappointment. Time Exposure Travel Ltd will always endeavour to provide suitable alternative arrangements. If a passenger is unable or does not choose to complete the itinerary outlined in the holiday Time Exposure Travel Ltd is not liable to supply alternative itineraries, excursions, accommodations, services or staff for the period when the client is not present with the group. Time Exposure Travel Ltd reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any participant, attendee or other on any workshop, tour or trip regardless of whether a deposit has been accepted or the workshop, tour or trip has commenced and regardless of whether full payment has been made. It will be at the sole and absolute discretion of Time Exposure Travel Ltd if any such participant, attendee or other has impeded the operation of the trip or the rights, safety, welfare or enjoyment of other members of the workshop, tour or trip or if any such participant has abused of any providers of goods or services on any workshop, tour or trip. No Refunds of any amounts paid to Time Exposure Travel Ltd, will be made due to any behaviour resulting in the removal from a workshop, tour or trip in progress. Agreement to the forgoing terms and conditions is a condition precedent to enrolment in any workshop, tour or trip.

Force Majeure: Time Exposure Travel Ltd will not be liable for any delay in, change to or cancellation of trips due to 'Force Majeure'. 'Force Majeure' means a circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Time Exposure Travel Ltd and includes, but is not limited to, war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, disease, industrial or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire and strikes.

Dispute Resolution: If the participant has a complaint, he/she should first inform the adventure leader or tour operator while on the adventure so that the adventure leader or tour operator can attempt to rectify the matter. If the participant is still dissatisfied, he/she should submit the complaint in writing to Time Exposure Travel Ltd within 30 days of the completion of the adventure. Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement, website, brochures, or any other literature concerning this adventure, or the breach thereof, including without limitation any claim related to illness, injury, or death, shall be subject to the following conditions: 1) the dispute will be governed by Scots law; 2) the parties agree that they will attempt in good faith to settle any and all disputes arising out of, under or in connection with this Agreement, including without limitation the validity, interpretation, performance and breach hereof, through a process of mediation in the United Kingdom, under the supervision of a mutually agreed upon mediator; 3) in the event that mediation fails to settle such a dispute, the parties agree that they will proceed to arbitration in the United Kingdom, using one arbitrator pursuant to the then existing rules arbitration; 4) the maximum amount of recovery to which a participant will be entitled under any and all circumstances will be the published cost of the participant’s tour with Time Exposure Travel . This agreement to arbitrate does not waive or modify any liability release agreed by the participant.

Other: Other Terms and Conditions may apply to some tours and will be provided with pre-trip emails or mailings. By registering for a Time Exposure Travel Ltd Tour, Workshop or Private Guided Tour, the participant agrees to the Responsibility statement and the Terms and Conditions herein.

Errors and/or Omissions: Rarely a mistake may occur in advertisements, promotional material or the Time Exposure Travel Ltd Website. The Company will not be held accountable where such errors/omissions occur and there will be no binding contract regarding the cost of a product or services in that instance.

Amendments: The Company reserves the right to add to, or to amend these conditions at any time should it see fit. The most recent conditions prior to departure will be those that are effective.
